MightySignal was founded in 2014 with the goal of providing critical insights into the mobile ecosystem. After working with high-profile clients such as Microsoft, Zendesk, and Verizon, the company was acquired in 2018 by Xenon Partners, a private equity firm providing software companies with expertise in growth marketing, product engineering and operations. Today, MightySignal continues to provide key performance metrics for top mobile apps and SDK providers to help clients track SDK market share and find qualified sales leads and leading app publishers.

About Airnow Data

Airnow Data, a subsidiary of Airnow PLC, is a platform that helps its customers monitor apps, benchmark competitors, and understand mobile market trends and ASO fundamentals all in one place. Airnow’s bespoke mobile application solutions help app publishers from across the globe to analyze, distribute, secure, and monetize their apps.

MightySignal with Airnow Data

MightySignal's proprietary SDK and app intelligence combined with Airnow Data's strategic mobile market insights will empower both brands to deliver truly comprehensive data across the mobile app ecosystem for digital marketers, B2B sales teams, financial investors and researchers of all kinds. Both companies stand to gain from the breadth and depth of industry data available through each other's methodology, and we share a common goal of creating additional value for all our customers through a unified UI.

When is this happening?

The acquisition happened on July 1, 2021; however the full integration of the two companies will take place throughout the duration of 2021 and likely into 2022. For now, both brands and platforms remain separate to the public. MightySignal will communicate ALL important updates to our customers as needed throughout the integration period.

Is my investment in MightySignal secure?

Yes! This announcement comes at a time of planned expansion for MightySignal's product offerings. The companies have been close for a couple of years already. Airnow has acquired multiple tech companies with unique mobile datasets and proven business models, which can accelerate growth across the business. Other recent acquisitions include Priori Data and Airpush.

I’m an existing MightySignal customer. What now?

You still have access to all the MightySignal data and insights you know and love!

Does this affect my MightySignal Web Portal subscription?

No. You still have access to everything you had before. As we integrate with Airnow Data, we will communicate any new data or features that become available.

Does this affect my MightySignal API access?

No. You still have access to everything you had before. As we integrate with Airnow Data, we will communicate any new data or features that become available.

Does this affect my custom subscription?

No. You still have access to everything you had before. As we integrate with Airnow Data, we will communicate any new data or features that become available.

Will my MightySignal customer service contacts change?

No. Continue to reach out to your MightySignal sales rep or contact support with questions.

How will this affect the servicing of my account?

It won’t. MightySignal will continue to provide you the highest level of service possible. Continue to reach out to your MightySignal sales rep or contact support with questions.

Can I still upgrade my MightySignal account if new features are released?

Yes! Nothing will change about your subscription at this time. Continue to reach out to your MightySignal sales rep or contact support for access to new data and features.

Will our invoicing change and who we pay?

No change. Continue to pay MightySignal as you normally would.

Who should I contact for finance or billing questions?

No change. Continue to reach out to your MightySignal sales rep or contact support with billing questions.

I’m NOT an existing MightySignal customer, what now?

Continue to work with your MightySignal sales rep as usual. Your deal is not affected!

Will my Salesperson change?

No. Continue to work with your MightySignal sales rep or contact sales if you do not have a dedicated MightySignal point of contact.

Commercial Terms

Nothing will change about your pricing or contract.

Do I need to execute a new contract or amend my current MightySignal contract?

No. MightySignal will continue to operate as MightySignal, Inc. at this time.

Is my MightySignal price or package changing?

No changes!

MightySignal Methodology

Nothing will change about MightySignal methods or processes at this time. We still scan over 5 million apps and will continue to work hard to bring you accurate, real-time data using the same proprietary MightySignal technology.

Have any MightySignal compliance assurances and PII procedures changed?

No. The companies share a commitment to protect and uphold privacy protections for all users.

Will there be any immediate changes in current dataset methodologies?

No. MightySignal methodology will remain as it is today. We will provide updates to our methodology if they occur in the future, alongside any new data or feature releases.

MightySignal Future

Your experience using MightySignal Web Portal, API, Data Feeds, and Salesforce Integration will remain the same, but as usual, we will continue to expand our coverage and features, and will keep you informed as we release product enhancements. Any material changes to the MightySignal name or products will be clearly communicated in the future if they do occur.

Will MightySignal retain its focus on SDK and App intelligence or will the focus switch to something else?

MightySignal will continue to focus on being the industry-leading provider of detailed and accurate mobile SDK intelligence. The investment from Airnow Data will strengthen and possibly expand our internal goals. Any product or platform expansion will be clearly communicated ahead of time. But our core focus remains on bringing you the app and SDK data you rely on.

Will the name “MightySignal” go away?

Not at this time. The companies are reviewing our brand names and product mix and will determine a strategy for the two companies. We will communicate any material changes that arise to our customers as needed.

What additional features will be available for MightySignal customers?

No immediate changes. However, MightySignal will continue to expand our product roadmap to include enhancements like:

  • SDK version tracking
  • More app details in Salesforce integration
  • Cross-store app and publisher mapping

And with the help of Airnow Data, we’ll invest in product enhancements like:

  • Enhanced MAU/DAU data
  • Keyword Intelligence
  • Strategic ASO data

Will MightySignal customers receive any data directly from Airnow Data? If so, when?

Airnow Data will not immediately be included in MightySignal subscriptions. However, MightySignal customers may purchase insights directly from Airnow Data. Work with your MightySignal sales rep or contact sales if you do not have a dedicated MightySignal point of contact. MightySignal will announce any product enhancements as they are released and will discuss individual needs with our customers.

Airnow Offering

MightySignal and Airnow Data are now one company, but with two distinct product offerings and brand names. We're looking forward to working together with Airnow to enhance both offerings, and will keep our customers in the loop as we do.

What's the difference between Airnow Data and MightySignal?

Long-term, the two companies will unify their product offering into one. Until then, Airnow Data is focused on ASO data such as DAU, MAU, ARPDAU, keyword intelligence, and other strategic ASO metrics, while MightySignal is focused on SDK intelligence, mobile ad intelligence, mobile publisher contact data and prospecting integration with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

How will MightySignal's data assets improve Airnow Data’s offering?

Initially, MightySignal will lend our SDK intelligence to the Airnow Data and Airnow Cybersecurity teams. The data integrations will expand from there.

Will Airnow Data be made available to MightySignal customers via the MightySignal UI, or will we need a separate subscription / login / contract?

In the short term, our products will only be accessible via our respective platforms. In the future, there are plans to combine our tech stacks into one comprehensive UI, but there is not a timeline for that at this time.

Do MightySignal customers get access to Airnow's data in their MightySignal subscription?

Not immediately, but our teams are working on a program for existing MightySignal customers to gain access to Airnow Data at preferred rates. Work with your MightySignal sales rep or contact sales if you do not have a dedicated MightySignal point of contact.

Can I combine my subscription with Airnow Data and MightySignal?

No. Not at this time, but possibly in the future. We will communicate with our clients about any platform combination or transition opportunities that arise in the near future well in advance.

Can you share Airnow Data’s methodology?
